Friday, May 29, 2026 - The Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, has denied reports claiming President Bola Tinubu has converted from Islam to Christianity.
He made this known in a statement posted on X on Thursday,

disregard the video circulating claiming PBAT has converted. It is a lie...

Tinubu has always been a Muslim, while proudly supporting his wife, who is a
Pastor. This unique interfaith harmony in his own home is what he brings to
national leadership, which is unity and not conversion.''
The clarification comes after a video claiming President
Tinubu attended a church programme and asked to prayed went viral. The video
alleged that Presidnet Tinubu took to the altar to ask for prayers over his
inability to stabilize the economy.
