Friday, May 29, 2026 - Tristan Thompson has revealed he would still like to have more children with Khloé Kardashian, but she quickly shut the idea down during a recent podcast conversation.
Appearing on Khloé’s “Khloé in Wonder Land” podcast,
Thompson admitted he does not want more children unless they come from the
embryos he previously created with Kardashian. During the conversation, the NBA
player directly asked whether they should have another baby together, but
Kardashian immediately responded with a firm “no.”
Khloé explained that they still have frozen embryos and that
Thompson also has stored sperm, but noted that she has full control over the
embryos because he signed them over to her.
The former couple already share two children, 8-year-old
True and 3-year-old Tatum. Despite their breakup, Thompson appeared to admit he
still struggles with the idea of Kardashian dating someone else.
When the discussion shifted to her love life, he said he
preferred an “ignorance is bliss” approach and claimed no man would ever be
good enough for the mother of his children. Thompson and Kardashian’s
relationship has faced several public controversies over the years, including
multiple cheating scandals involving the basketball star.

Khloé Kardashian convinced her ex-Tristan Thompson to
get a vasectomy.
The 41-year-old reality star invited her NBA star ex, 35,
onto her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast on Thursday, May 28, where the
former couple revealed that Thompson went under the knife at Kardashian's
request.
“Do you wanna have more kids in the future?” the Good
American co-founder asked Thompson.
“I think I signed off for two embryos,” Thompson said. “So,
I mean, if I do have more kids, it'd be coming from you. I already have enough
baby moms. Don't want no more.”
In addition to sharing daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 2,
with Kardashian, Thompson is also the father of son Prince, 9, with his ex
Jordan Craig and son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols.
“And who helped you fix that decision? That was me,”
Kardashian said of Thompson's vasectomy, adding, “Tristan may have had a little
ultimatum from me.”
“What? Getting neutered?” Thompson asked. “Sometimes you
gotta lay them nuts on the table.”
Thompson implied that he was initially against the idea,
admitting, “I've been a little hardheaded at times … I wish I wasn't as
stubborn.”
However, Thompson appeared to have come around to the idea,
saying, “Sometimes you have to get forced into the right decision.”
And while he's had the vasectomy, more kids aren't off the
table for Thompson. During the podcast interview, he revealed that he legally
signed over the rights to his embryos with Kardashian.
“You signed them over to me anyway, so I legally own them,” Kardashian confirmed during the episode.
Thompson added, “No more kids, unless it's coming from
Khloé's embryos.”
But Kardashian said that
she also ensured another option for her ex and a future partner.
“We saved sperm
because I said, ‘What if you get married and your wife doesn't have kids, and
you wanna do that?' ” Kardashian explained. “So we did that. Because you could
also reverse it.”
Kardashian and Thompson split for good in 2021. In early
December 2021, news broke that he had another baby on the way and
that Texas personal trainer Nichols was due to welcome his child before the new
year. A source told PEOPLE at the time that Kardashian and Thompson were dating
when Nichols said the child was conceived.
On July 13, 2022, a rep for Kardashian told PEOPLE that she
and Thompson were expecting another child together via surrogate.
"Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary
surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We'd like to ask for kindness and
privacy so that Khloé can focus on her family," they said at the time.
Son Tatum was born just weeks later on July 28, 2022.
Thompson publicly and privately apologized to Kardashian for
the betrayal, and the former pair have worked hard to maintain an amicable
co-parenting relationship for the sake of their children.
