Monday, June 29, 2026 - Suspected bandits have shared a video flaunting large sums of money allegedly obtained from ransom payments for kidnap victims.
The video has been shared online, eliciting concern about
the state of the nation.
Bakatsine, a journalist who reports on conflict and
insecurity in Nigeria’s North-West region, shared the video on X and wrote:
“This video shows bandits flaunting money obtained through ransom payments. May
Allah bring an end to this tragedy and grant Nigeria lasting peace.”
