Friday, May 22, 2026 - WWE star Ludwig Kaiser was arrested in Florida after allegedly assaulting a neighbour during an argument that police say began over inappropriate behaviour inside an elevator.
Kaiser, whose real name is Marcel Barthel, was taken into
custody on Wednesday on a misdemeanour battery charge following an incident at
a luxury apartment building in Orlando, according to a police report obtained
by TMZ. Police said the altercation happened on the night of April 23 when
Kaiser, his girlfriend and a neighbour entered an elevator together inside the
building where both men reportedly live.
According to the report, Kaiser and the woman began kissing
inside the lift as it travelled upwards, with officers describing the behaviour
as becoming increasingly intimate in front of the neighbour. When the elevator
reached the 12th floor, the neighbour allegedly told the couple to “please have
some manners.”
The comment reportedly angered Kaiser, who police say then
attacked the neighbour and shoved him to the ground. Authorities also alleged
that Kaiser threatened the man during the confrontation. The neighbour later
reported the incident to law enforcement.
Investigators said security footage from the building helped
identify the wrestler, leading to his arrest on a warrant this week. Kaiser was
booked into the Orange County Jail before later being released after posting
$1,000 bail.
