Friday, May 29, 2026 -After years of public tension, Katy Perry and Chief Keef appear to have finally buried the hatchet.
Videos circulating online show the two celebrities laughing,
chatting and hanging out together in what many fans are calling one of the most
unexpected celebrity reunions in recent years. The friendly meetup comes more
than a decade after their highly publicised social media clash in 2013.
The feud started when Perry criticised Chief Keef’s song I
Hate Being Sober, posting on X that the track gave her “serious doubt for the
world.” Chief Keef responded angrily at the time with insulting posts directed
at the pop star, sparking backlash online.
Perry later attempted to calm tensions, explaining that her
comments were not a personal attack on the rapper but rather criticism of
glorifying excessive intoxication. Now, more than ten years later, the pair
appeared completely at ease together, smiling and joking in videos shared
online, a sign that the long-running feud may finally be over.
