Friday, May 29, 2026 - Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has stated that she is no longer interested in marriage, following the high-profile collapse of her previous union.
The 25-year-old movie star was previously married to Delta
State lawmaker, Senator Ned Nwoko, with whom she shares two sons. The former
couple tied the knot in 2019 when Daniels was 19 years old, but the marriage
crashed in 2025 amid allegations of domestic abuse, drug abuse, and
irreconcilable differences.
Speaking during a recent livestream with TikToker Jarvis,
Regina said;
“For some reason I have checked
my mind out of getting married but I need to have a girl and I must have a
girl. I feel like motherhood d starts better when you have a girl. You will
understand motherhood when you have a girl child. Having boys is easy because
at least you can groom them to have a role model in a father figure.
But for your girl child, you have
to be that role model for them to emulate. Before I had my first son. I said,
