Hilarious moment Journalist tells President TINUBU to "Put your mic where your mouth is" after he said Africa needs to put its money where its mouth is (VIDEO)

Friday, May 15, 2026 - A journalist left the President of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu amused after rephrasing his own words during a chat. 

Tinubu was speaking at the Africa CEO Forum 2026 in Kigali, Rwanda, when he moved his microphone away from his mouth, causing his words to be inaudible. 

He said: "For me, Africa needs to put its money where its mouth is." 

The journalist then told Tinubu: "Could you put your microphone where your mouth is?" 

Tinubu did as she asked, then laughed upon realising what she had done.
