Tuesday, April 21, 2026 - Cher could be facing a surprising new chapter in her family life following claims from former model Kayti Edwards that the star has a previously unknown granddaughter.
Edwards alleges that she revealed the information to Cher in
2024, claiming she shares a daughter with Elijah Blue Allman, whom she says was
born after a brief relationship in 2010. According to Edwards, the child, named
Ever, had been known to Elijah but not to Cher for years.
She claimed Cher initially dismissed the idea when it was
mentioned during a 2021 overdose scare involving Elijah, but later sought
confirmation. “She was speechless,” Edwards said, adding that Cher told family
members, “Oh my God, I’m finally a grandma.”
Edwards further alleged that relations have since improved,
saying she and her daughter were invited to stay at Cher’s Malibu home, where
the singer reportedly spent time bonding with the child, showing her stage
outfits and engaging playfully.
