Nigerian woman arrested in Libya for stealing money from employer

Monday, February 9, 2026 - A Nigerian housekeeper has been arrested in Libya for allegedly stealing money from her employer. 

The Nigerian woman was arrested in Benghazi on Sunday, February 8, 2026. 

According to Libya Observer, she was accused of stealing 98,000 dinars from her employer's house.
