Saturday, November 8, 2025 - Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly landed in trouble inside Fort Dix prison after being caught drinking homemade alcohol behind bars, TMZ has learned.
Sources familiar with the situation said the music mogul was
found with “hooch”, an improvised alcoholic drink inmates make by
fermenting Fanta, sugar, and apples for about two weeks. The contraband was
discovered by prison officials at the low-security New Jersey facility where
Diddy is serving his sentence.
Authorities initially planned to move him to a different
housing unit as punishment, but two independent sources told TMZ the decision
was reversed, and Diddy will remain where he is.
The development comes just weeks after Combs told the judge
ahead of his sentencing that he was sober for the first time in 25 years. In a
letter to the court, he said substances had contributed to him “losing his way”
and claimed that “the old me died in jail and a new version of me was reborn.”
Photos from last week showed the 55-year-old mingling
comfortably in the prison yard, chatting and laughing with other inmates.
Diddy was convicted in July on two counts of violating the
Mann Act and received a 50-month federal sentence in October. He was
transferred to Fort Dix only last week.
Fort Dix officials said they had no information to share
regarding the reported incident.
