Friday, July 4, 2025 - Sophia Hutchins, friend and manager of Caitlyn Jenner, has died at the age of 29 following a tragic ATV accident in Malibu, California.
Hutchins was riding an all-terrain vehicle near Jenner’s
$3.5 million home on Wednesday morning when her ATV collided with a car,
causing her to plunge 350 feet down a ravine. Authorities reported that the two
people in the car were unharmed.
Hutchins and Jenner shared a close relationship since first
meeting in 2015, living together and working closely as Hutchins managed
Jenner’s career from 2017. Despite speculation about their personal
relationship, Hutchins denied romantic involvement with Jenner, emphasizing her
role as a trusted manager and friend.
Weeks before the accident, Hutchins expressed her affection
for Jenner on social media, responding to a photo of Jenner praying in
Jerusalem with the words “I love you.” The pair had appeared together at
various high-profile events and in Jenner’s reality TV projects, including “I
Am Cait.”
Jenner, 75, has yet to publicly comment on Hutchins’ death.
Hutchins was also known for her entrepreneurial ventures, founding the company
Lumasol, and was active politically, supporting Donald Trump’s 2024
presidential campaign.
