Never go to Benue to find love, just buy yams and head back to your God ordained state! -Woman warns ladies says she already 'sacrificed herself for sisterhood'

Monday, May 19, 2025 - A Nigerian woman, Adaeze Emerald Nweke, has advised ladies to not go looking for love in Benue State.

According to her, the only reason women should go to Benue is to buy yam tubers. 

“The only reason you should go to Benue State is to buy their yams. Their yams are so sweet. Not to find love. Not to see man. Just buy yams and go back to your God ordained state!” she wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday 

“I went through it so you wouldn’t have to. I sacrificed myself for sisterhood.”
