Wednesday, March 27, 2024 –The funeral rites for the soldiers killed in Delta State was carried out today at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.
President Bola Tinubu led the top government
officials, including service chiefs and other heads of security agencies, at
the solemn event. At the commencement of the rites, prayers were rendered for
the repose of the souls of the slain soldiers.
The military personnel comprising four officers, and 13 soldiers were murdered on March 14 by some irate youths during a peace keeping mission in the Okuama community.
