Tuesday, September 15, 2026 -Nigerian music star Speed Darlington has challenged his
colleague, Burna Boy, to a boxing match.
Speaking in a recent interview with Hip TV, the Akpi crooner
pledged to drop a huge sum of money if Burna Boy accepted to fight him in the
ring.
The singer boasted that Burna Boy could not beat him in a
fight.
“I challenge Burna Boy to fight me. I will drop a huge sum
just to fight him. I want to fight him. I will beat him. He’s all hype. He
can’t beat me. Just because some people like his music doesn’t mean he can beat
me. I am challenging him,” he said.
Portable alleged that Burna Boy gifted him N20 million for
beating Speed Darlington in a boxing match in April.
Portable claimed that Burna Boy gave him the money because
he beat Speed Darlington, who was trolling the Grammy-winning singer, alleging
that he had an illicit affair with embattled American rapper Diddy in exchange
for his Grammy award.
