Monday, September 14, 2026 -Businessman, Isaac Fayose, has attacked a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, over his consistent defence of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Igbokwe, a staunch supporter of President Tinubu, frequently
uses his Facebook page to criticise opposition parties and defend the APC
administration.
The APC chieftain recently declared that opponents of Tinubu
in the January 2027 presidential election were merely wasting their time and
resources.
According to Igbokwe, “all the capabilities of the other
presidential candidates put together cannot match the strength, the experience,
knowledge, capacities and capabilities of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
Reacting in a post on his official X handle on Sunday,
Fayose criticised Igbokwe for defending what he described as a ‘failed
government’.
Fayose mocked the APC chieftain over his support for the
administration, alleging that Igbokwe spends heavily on fuel to power his
mobile device so he can defend the government online.
Sharing a photo of Igbokwe, Fayose wrote: “Buying fuel 1,400
per liter inside your generator to power your mobile devices and come online to
defend a failed government is another sign of mental illness and damage brain.”
