Police recover four stolen vehicles in Kano operation

Monday, September 7, 2026 - The Kano State Police Command has recovered four stolen motor vehicles and handed them over to their rightful owners.

The Command said the recoveries were made through intelligence-led operations and cooperation with members of the public, in line with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the operations were carried out under the direction of the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori.

The police said the recoveries were made between August 1 and September 1, 2026
