Wednesday, August 26, 2026 - Suge Knight is making a major claim amid the ongoing trial involving Duane “Keefe D” Davis, alleging that Davis’ lawyers offered him up to $1 million to say that Keefe D was not inside the vehicle involved in the shooting that killed Tupac Shakur.
Speaking to TMZ Live from prison Tuesday, August 25, Knight
said he rejected the alleged offer, insisting that his loyalty to Tupac “can’t
be compromised.” The Death Row founder also criticized rapper The Game, who
recently claimed that Keefe D was being used as a scapegoat in Tupac’s murder
case.
The Game has said he has known who killed Tupac for about 15
years and that people connected to Compton and Los Angeles know what happened.
Knight pushed back on those comments, accusing people of using Tupac’s death to
attract attention.
Knight said Tupac’s life “wasn’t no motherf*ing circus”**,
arguing that too many people are speaking publicly about the case for
publicity. Despite his comments, Knight stopped short of saying whether Keefe D
is guilty or innocent. However, he repeated his belief that “definitely more
than one person was involved” in Tupac’s killing.
Knight also alleged that “crooked cops” and off-duty police
officers were involved in the broader circumstances surrounding the rapper’s
