Wednesday, June 3, 2026 - Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A, has criticized Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde over his handling of the state's security challenges.
In a recent statement shared on his official Instagram
account, the reality TV star accused Governor Makinde of playing politics with
human lives to fuel his rumored 2027 presidential ambition.
Teddy A claimed that despite Oyo State receiving ₦12 billion
annually from the federation as a security vote, the administration has failed
to adequately protect the lives and properties of its citizens.
The actor’s public criticism coincides with mounting
pressure and widespread protests demanding the immediate rescue of the 45
students and teachers who were abducted by gunmen from schools in the Oriire
Local Government Area of the state on May 15.
