Tuesday, June 2, 2026 - The Synagogue Church of All Nations will commemorate the fifth anniversary of the death of its founder, Prophet T.B. Joshua, on June 5, 2026, with a special programme themed “Rejoicing with the Saints.”
The church, in a statement on Monday, stated that the event
would bring together worshippers, gospel ministers, dignitaries and admirers
from different parts of the world to celebrate the life and legacy of the late
cleric, whose ministry attracted a global following.
According to the statement, the anniversary celebration will
be preceded by a two-day revival scheduled for June 2 and 3 at the church’s
Faith Resort Ground in Agodo, Lagos.
The statement read, “Five years after his transition to
glory, Prophet T.B. Joshua remains one of the most influential Christian
figures to emerge from Africa.
“Through his teachings, humanitarian outreach and global
media ministry, he touched millions of lives across continents, leaving behind
a legacy that continues to inspire faith, compassion and service to humanity.”
The programme is expected to commence with a Walk Way
Experience, during which visitors from various countries will share personal
reflections on the impact of the late prophet’s life and ministry.
Activities lined up for the event include worship sessions,
documentary presentations and testimonies from individuals who were influenced
by the ministry of the founder of SCOAN.
One of the highlights of the programme will be a documentary
chronicling the life, ministry and humanitarian contributions of the late
cleric.
The statement added, “The film is designed to remind
attendees not only of who the renowned preacher was but also why his
contributions to Christianity, philanthropy and global evangelism remain worthy
of celebration five years after his passing.”
A special conversation corner has also been scheduled, where
guests and associates of the late prophet will share experiences and
testimonies about his influence on their lives and communities.
Among those expected to participate are King Willard Mswati
Gomani of Malawi, Pastor Acosta of Argentina, Mama Akinola of Nigeria, Sybrand
of South Africa, and Adisley and Enrique of Spain.
Virtual contributions are also expected from Colonel Wilson
of Colombia, Katerina of the United Kingdom and Teniente Coronel Melo of the
Dominican Republic.
According to the organisers, the international composition
of participants reflects the global reach of T.B. Joshua’s ministry, which
attracted followers and visitors from more than 100 countries during his
lifetime.
The statement added, “Through Emmanuel TV and his extensive
missionary activities, he became one of Africa’s most recognisable religious
leaders, drawing people from diverse backgrounds in search of spiritual
guidance and hope.”
The anniversary celebration will also feature ministrations
by Tanzanian gospel singer Christiana Shusho and American gospel artiste Brian
Cage.
A major highlight of the event is expected to be an address
by Pastor Evelyn Joshua, who assumed leadership of SCOAN following the death of
her husband in June 2021.
Since taking over the leadership of the church, Pastor
Evelyn has continued to oversee its spiritual and humanitarian activities while
sustaining many of the initiatives established by the late prophet.
The church said the anniversary would provide an opportunity
for followers to reflect on the values championed by T.B. Joshua, including
faith, love, charity and practical Christianity.
“Beyond the church’s spiritual activities, the late
prophet’s legacy remains evident in numerous humanitarian projects, educational
interventions and charitable programmes that have benefited vulnerable
communities in Africa and beyond,” the statement noted.
