Tuesday, May 5, 2026 - Troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) have arrested a suspected vandal in Kwall, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The suspect, identified as Mr. Nimnan Binfa, aged 42, was
arrested at about 11:00 a.m. on May 3, 2026 by troops of Sector 3 OPEP while
attempting to steal copper wires within the premises of the College of
Accountancy, Kwall.
The suspect was apprehended during routine security
surveillance of the area.
A chain saw was recovered from the suspect at the time of
arrest.
The suspect is currently in custody and undergoing further
investigation
