In the viral footage circulating on social media, an
official overseeing the primary process was seen counting party members and
supporters physically standing behind the two contenders.
According to the figures announced during the exercise,
Okowa reportedly secured the backing of 6,922 attendees, while Nwoko received
support from just three people. The dramatic difference in support immediately
triggered intense reactions online, with many users expressing surprise at the
scale of the reported margin.
The APC primary for the Delta North senatorial ticket is
still ongoing, and party officials are yet to issue a formal statement
confirming the final outcome of the contest. Neither Okowa nor Nwoko has
