Friday, May 1, 2026 - The middle-aged man caught on camera beating female police officers who stopped him at a checkpoint in Ido, Osun state, has been apprehended.
A video showing the man using a piece of wood to assault the
women at the checkpoint, went viral a few days ago. He also resisted some men
in the area who tried to stop him from ass@ulting the police officers.
Parading the suspect before newsmen, the State Commissioner of Police said the suspect was apprehended in Edo state where he fled to after committing the crime.
