Tuesday, May 19, 2026 - A teacher has been accused of s3xually abusing four sisters at a school in Kano State.
The disturbing incident reportedly occurred in Inusawa,
Ungogo Local Government Area of the state.
A lawyer, Barr Badamasi Suleiman, who confirmed the incident
in a Facebook post on Monday, May 18, 2026 said the siblings, Hasana, Hussaina,
and Gambo, aged 7, and their 5-year-old sister, were allegedly abused by their
teacher identified simply as “Uncle Kamal” at Al-Hadeed Private School.
According to the lawyer, the children's mother discovered
the issue after noticing that one of the minors could not control her
bowels.
Upon inquiry, all the children confirmed that Uncle Kamal
was abusing them.
It was gathered that doctors also confirmed that all 4
children were abused.
After thorough investigation and gathering of solid
evidence, the teacher was arraigned before Senior Magistrate Court No. 27,
No-Man’s-Land, Kano.
The court remanded him in a correctional facility and
adjourned the case to June 9, 2026.
