"How come nobody said anything?" Rapper MORACHI faults ALEX EKUBO’s friends for keeping his battle with cancer a secret (VIDEO)

Wednesday, May 13, 2026 - Rapper Morachi has sparked a conversation online after sharing his thought on the shocking demise of actor, Alex Ekubo.

In a video shared on social media, Morachi seemingly blamed Alex's friends for keeping his battle with his sickness private. He argued that even if Alex wanted it to be kept private, his friends should have found a way to let the public know.

‘’It's easier for us to say Rest in peace Alex Ekubo rather than doing critical thinking, ask critical questions. Questions like ‘How come this guy had cancer and Yomi Casual and IK Ogbonna did not even say anything? Even if Alex Ekubo said ’Oh, I don't want anyone to pity me', they would still go ahead and bring it to the public in such a way that they can save their friend. But nobody said anything and all of a sudden everyone is saying Rest in peace. I know that Alex was close to Uti Nachukwu at some point in time but I don't know what happened to that relationship….but Yomi Casual and IK Ogbonna, how come you guys don't know anything?'' he said
