Wednesday, April 15, 2026 - Armed bandits have attacked communities in Omala and Kabba/Bunu Local Government Areas of Kogi State, abducting five persons and k!lling three residents.
The attackers invaded Odae Bunu community in Kabba/Bunu LGA
on Monday, April 13, 2026, abducted five persons and k!lled one resident.
The incident has thrown the community into panic, with
residents expressing growing concerns over the rising insecurity in the area.
As of the time of filing this report, security agencies are
yet to release an official statement regarding the attack.
Similarly, two residents were k!lled in Bagaji Odo community
in Omala LGA community.
The attack is believed to have been carried out by suspected
herdsmen on Sunday, April 12.
Several other residents were reportedly injured during the
attack.
