Monday, April 20, 2026 - Patrick Muldoo, known for his roles on Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place, di£d suddenly on April 19, at the age of 57.

Muldoon-Zappa told TMZ the actor di£d from a heart attack, which
occurred while he was in the shower at his home.
Muldoon-Zappa said her brother was discovered by his
girlfriend, Miriam Rothbart.
Muldoon began his acting career while he was still in
college at the University of Southern California, where he played on the
football team,. His career began with a two-episode role in the
sitcom Who’s the Boss?
Upon graduating, he became even more well known with a
three-episode arc playing Jeffrey Hunter, the once-boyfriend of Tiffani
Thiessen’s Kelly Kapowski on Saved by the Bell.
In 1992, Muldoon was cast as Austin Reed on the soap
opera Days of Our Lives, originating the role until 1995. He returned more
than 10 years later to reprise the role from 2011 to 2012.
The actor also worked on Melrose Place, portraying
villain Richard Hart from 1995 to 1996.
On the big screen, among his major roles was Zander Baraclow
in 1997’s Starship Troopers.
He also appeared in various Lifetime and Hallmark movies and
worked alongside Bruce Willis in 2021’s Deadlock.
His latest movie, a thriller about a drug deal gone wrong
called Dirty Hands, is set to release later this year.
The Los Angeles native also produced a number of films
throughout his career, including The Tribes of Palos Verdes, Arkansas,
Marlowe, The Card Counter, The Dreadful and Riff Raff.
His most recent producing project was the
film Kockroach, starring Chris Hemsworth, Taron
Egerton, Zazie Beetz, and Alec Baldwin which is currently in
production.
Just two days before his d£ath, Muldoon celebrated the
film on Instagram, confirming filming had started in Australia and writing, “So
excited to be a part of this amazing project KOCKROACH.”
