Wednesday, March, 18 2026 - A woman was arrested in Florida, United States after she allegedly admitted to injuring herself in an attempt to frame her boyfriend and have him jailed.
According to a statement issued by the Marion County
Sheriff's Office, a domestic disturbance call ended with a woman in jail after
deputies said she allegedly injured herself and then falsely blamed her
boyfriend.
Corporal Bowling responded to a home in reference to a
disturbance.
During an argument, deputies said Angela Walczak
intentionally hit her head on the corner of a wall, causing a gash.
Investigators said Walczak then claimed her boyfriend caused
the injury and provided a sworn written statement.
Deputies said Walczak later admitted she hurt herself in an
attempt to get her boyfriend arrested.
Walczak was arrested and taken to jail.
