Tuesday, March, 24 2026 - Former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, was captured in a tense exchange with operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, during an early morning raid at his residence in Abuja.
In a video cited online, Malami is seen questioning the
legitimacy of the operatives’ presence, repeatedly demanding to see a valid
court order authorizing their actions.
“Where is your court order?” he asked firmly. Do you want to
disgrace me?”
The EFCC officials reportedly told him they had the right to
mark the property, claiming it was under investigation.
However, Malami pushed back, arguing that any such order
permitting their actions had already expired.
“You said the property is under probation, is it still under
probation when the order has elapsed?” he queried.
“You were at my other house earlier this morning, and now
you are here again. Why?”
He further challenged the operatives to present clear legal
backing for their actions.
“The order you are referring to is not specific. It does not
give you clear directives to come and mark my property,” Malami said.
“This matter is already pending in court. Show me where it
is stated that you have the authority to be here.”
Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) on
Monday stormed a house belonging to former Attorney-General Abubakar Malami in
Abuja, forcing those present to leave.
The incident occurred shortly after former Vice-President
Atiku Abubakar visited the Maitama residence. He reportedly spent about an hour
there before leaving.

Power is transient.
Power is never permanent.
This is the same fool that carried himself like a minigod under Buhari.
