Wednesday, March, 18 2026 - Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda, who served as Senate Minority Leader during the 9th Senate of the National Assembly representing the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, on Tuesday joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
This was disclosed by the party official’s X handle.
According to the statement, “He vowed to deliver victory for
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the FCT in 2027.”
Aduda was formally received into the APC by the National
Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, accompanied by members of the National
Working Committee.
The development comes shortly after Aduda formally resigned
from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), citing ongoing crises within the
party as the reason for his departure.
