Monday, March, 9 2026 - The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 48-year-old man, for allegedly s0domising a 15-year-old boy in Burra, Ningi Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesperson for the command, SP Nafiu Habib, who
disclosed this in a statement on Saturday, March 7, 2026 said the suspect was
arrested for unnatural offence (sodomy).
According to the PPRO, the suspect deceitfully lured the
victim into a room where he s8xually assaulted him.
“On 25th February, 2026, one Danalami Umar, 45 years old of
Bakin Kasuwa, Burra, reported at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Burra that
on 17th February, 2026, at about 2000hrs, a 15-year-old teenager was
deceitfully lured by Bala Mato ‘m’ aged 48 years, who allegedly committed an
unnatural offence against him in a room,” the statement read.
