Friday, February 6, 2026 -The Ugandan entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning following the m8rder of a 24-year-old businesswoman and online personality, Namulinde Diana, popularly known as Diana Skys or Karichwife.
Diana was found d3ad in her apartment in Kyanja, a hilly
residential neighbourhood in Uganda's capital city, Kampala on Wednesday,
February 4, 2026.
According to authorities, Diana’s body was discovered after
friends became concerned and checked on her when she didn’t respond.
The late TikTok personality is reported to have been the
victim of an aggravated robbery and assault at her residence by some unknown
assailants who absconded after committing the heinous crime.
The body of the late Diana has been reportedly deposited at
the Mulago City Mortuary, with the Ugandan Police Force (UPF) commencing
investigations into the circumstances surrounding her d3ath.
Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Public Relations Officer for
Kampala Metropolitan Police, confirmed that earlier in the day, a security
guard from the premises was arrested after being found in possession of stolen
items.
Some of the recovered items were later identified as
belonging to the deceased.
Two other suspects are reportedly in police custody
assisting with investigations into the d3ath of Diana.
The news of her d3ath has evoked sad reactions from many
Ugandans on social media, who paid tribute and offered their condolences to her
grieving family.
