Wednesday, November 5, 2025 - Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers have k!lled a POS operator identified as Saleem and injured others in Sodawa village, Ghari Local Government Area of Kano State.
The incident occurred on Sunday night, November 2,
2025.
According to a resident, Mallam Zaharaddin, the
assailants had trailed the victim after he withdrew money for his business.
“They blocked him on his way and opened fire on him, k1lling
him instantly. After that, they continued shooting and attacked nearby shops,”
he said.
Security operatives later arrived at the scene and took the
injured victims to the hospital for urgent treatment.
Journalist Bakatsine, who also confirmed the incident on
Tuesday said fear has gripped the community, with residents calling on the
government and relevant authorities to increase security presence in the
area.
