Wednesday, November 5, 2025 - Actress Nancy Iheme has shared her thoughts on Instagram amid the ongoing drama surrounding Regina Daniels and her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Though she didn’t mention names directly, her lengthy post
appeared to reference the situation, as she cautioned young women about
marrying much older men without being “calculative.”
According to her, many older men are “clever and cunning,”
and women who marry them must be wise and strategic.
“You can’t
possibly marry an old man without being calculative, especially when you know
he’s a polygamist. You can’t go that high in age only to be handed
breadcrumbs,” she wrote.
Nancy went on to advise women not to see marriage as a
“poverty alleviation programme,” warning that some older men financially
manipulate their wives to keep them dependent.
She added that marrying an older man “isn’t for the
faint-hearted,” urging women to prioritise their happiness and walk away from
relationships that no longer serve them.
“If you’re not happy in your marriage, take a walk. Last last, your happiness matters too. I’ve been in that shoe before — take a walk and be free,” she concluded.
