Wednesday, September 17, 2025 - The 2023 All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Rivers State, Tonye Cole, says the suspended state governor, Sim Fubara, will have ‘zero’ powers when his suspension is lifted.
Cole made this statement on Wednesday, when he appeared as a
guest in an interview on ‘The Morning Brief’, a programme on Channels
Television.
According to him, Fubara would find himself in a difficult
situation.
The APC chieftain further stated that Fubara would not be
able to make any decision as a governor without interference.
“Rivers, a critical state in Nigeria, had a governor who
would not be able to exercise his full authority as an elected leader,” he
lamented.
