Tuesday, September 2, 2025 - Another airline drama has unfolded, sparking conversations about the need for sensitization of airline passengers and staff.
A video shared online shows a passenger of Enugu Air being
dragged away by airport officials.
At least 8 airport officials are seen surrounding the
middle-aged male passenger just feet away from the plane, while the man
resisits their efforts to drag him away.
"They pulled his trousers earlier, now no
slippers," a woman filming from the airport waiting area is heard saying
as one airport staff violently shoves the man while grabbing onto the waist of
trousers.
It is not clear what led to the treatment meted out on the
passenger.
So far, the airline has not released a statement. Unverified
online reports claim the man failed to comply when airport staff told him he
could not sit in an exit row seat because he might not be able to assist in the
case of an emergency. This allegedly led to a dispute and the man was removed
