Tuesday, August 19, 2025 - A police officer was caught in the act of extorting a commercial bus driver and he was scolded by his senior colleague for his action.
A video shared online shows the
uniformed police officer collecting money in order to allow a bus driver to
continue his journey.
A man believed to be a senior
police officer witnessed the incident from his car and confronted his junior
colleague.
The senior officer accused the
other officer of spoiling the image of the police by collecting money from a
driver. He asked him if he bought anything from the driver and the junior
officer said he didn't.
Before scolding him, the senior
officer instructed his junior colleague to return the money he collected to
the bus driver who had been made to park by the side of the road.
