‘‘An old man dying after using our blood to secure the financial future of his generations is not considered justice. " SEUN KUTI speaks on how his family suffered in the hands of BUHARI

Tuesday, July 15, 2025 - Seun Kuti has said that he does not see Buhari’s de@th in old age as justice. 

The musician, who is one of the sons of late music legend Fela Kuti, stated that many of his family members who were "better men" then Muhammadu Buhari di£d before him, yet the former President lived long enough to secure the financial future of his children. 

Seun added, "that an old man has di£d in old age after using our blood to secure the financial future of his generations" is not something he would consider justice. 

Speaking on Live video, Seun went on to state that no one watching his live can say that their family suffered in the hands of Buhari the way his family did. 

He added that his only hope would be that if there is an afterlife, his late father Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and other relatives would gather together and "brush" Buhari when he makes his entrance into the great beyond. 

Seun Kuti stated that Buhari’s de@th is the reason nothern politicians began leaving APC to form a coalition. He alleged that they sensed Buhari was about to di£ and this reduced their chances in APC, so they decided to leave the party to create a coalition under the guise that they were doing it for the people.
