Sunday, June 22, 2025 - U.S President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran, urging the country to pursue peace or face additional military action.
The statement comes in the wake of U.S. strikes on three
Iranian nuclear facilities over the weekend.
“Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If
they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier,” Trump
declared during a Saturday night national address.
“This cannot continue. There will be either peace or there
will be tragedy for Iran, far greater than we have witnessed over the last
eight days. Remember, there are many targets left,” he added, emphasizing that
the U.S. military could act “with precision, speed, and skill” within minutes.
The Iranian Atomic Energy Organization strongly condemned the
strikes on its nuclear sites—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan—calling them a “savage
assault” and a “blatant violation of international law,” including the Treaty
on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
