Monday, May 5, 2025 - A suspected vandal was electrocuted while allegedly attempting to steal from a transformer in Aba, Abia State.
It was gathered that the incident happened at the Wilcox
Relief transformer located on Chief Nwangwa Street in Ogbor Hill.
The body of the yet to be identified man was found dangling
from a high-tension electricity pole in the early hours of Monday, May
5, 2025.
According to reports, the individual was allegedly tampering
with components of the power system when the electricity supply was suddenly
restored, resulting in a fatal shock.
