Tuesday, April 22, 2025 - The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has fired back at Alhaji Buba Galadima, who recently questioned Ganduje’s political standing.
In a response to Galadima’s claims that Ganduje holds no
electoral value, Chief Oliver Okpala, Ganduje’s Senior Special Assistant on
Public Enlightenment, strongly defended his boss, labeling Galadima as a
“failed, rejected, and frustrated politician.”
Okpala criticized Galadima for his lack of political
credibility and inconsistent career. He reminded Galadima of his previous
affiliation with the Buhari Organization, which was unsuccessful in securing
electoral wins.
Okpala also highlighted Ganduje’s solid political record
during his two terms as governor of Kano State, pointing to his ongoing
projects and strong connection to the people.
He also dismissed Galadima’s relevance, questioning his
results and pointing out the political struggles within Galadima’s current
party, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP). Okpala emphasized that Ganduje’s
leadership has kept the APC stable and influential, unlike the internal issues
facing the NNPP.
In closing, Okpala affirmed that Ganduje remains focused on
his work and is not fazed by Galadima’s attacks, asserting that Ganduje’s
established political influence continues to garner strong support from
Nigerians, particularly APC members.
