Monday, March 3, 2025 - A woman has been caught in a testimony scam after she was seen selling soft drinks in a small shop months after she testified in church that she bought a mansion.
The woman was seen eating abacha while attending to a customer in her
shop. The customer then recognised her from the video and asked if she was the
one who gave the testimony in Ebuka Obi's Zion Ministry.
Unable to deny it, the woman is seen exiting her shop to join her
friends on the street.
The man who confronted her is heard saying that she is owing him money,
yet she claimed she bought a mansion. He also accused her friends of being part
of the fake testimony scam.
"See Ebuka Obi's people here. See them. Thieves. See the person who
bought mansion, look where she is selling things," the man filming
said.
This comes just months after the woman testified in Zion Ministry that
she bought a mansion and a video of the mansion was shown in church, with Ebuka
Obi using her as a point of contact to pray for his members.
Ebuka Obi said in church following her testimony: "This is a
mansion, built by a young lady. Women what are you waiting for? Boys what are
you waiting for? Did anyone tie you? Lose yourself."
