Wednesday, March 5, 2025 - The Senator representing Kogi Central, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, on Wednesday, March 5, arrived at the Senate Chamber with her husband as plenary resumed after a one-week recess.
She walked straight to the chambers and gave her husband a kiss before
she proceeded into the chambers where she took her place in her newly assigned
seat, which has been at the center of an ongoing controversy.
The dispute over the seat has sparked tensions within the Senate as she
accused the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, of sexu@l harassment.
The matter is currently being handled by the courts and the Senate
Committee on Ethics and Priviledges.
