ALEKSANDAR MITROVIC rushed to hospital in Saudi Arabia over 'rapid heartbeat'

Monday, March 10, 2025 - Former Fulham and Newcastle striker, Aleksandar Mitrovic has been hospitalized due to a 'rapid heartbeat caused by physical stress', as per reports from Saudi Arabia.

The 30-year-old Serbian international, who plays for Al-Hilal, was forced to miss training after the heart rate complication caused by 'physical stress'.

His health is now being monitored by his club, Al-Hilal, and he is a doubt for Tuesday's Asian Champions League clash with Uzbek club Pakhtakor.

Mitrovic has also been instructed to take 'complete rest' following his admission to hospital early on Sunday morning.

'The medical staff has decided to rest Aleksandar Mitrovic from Sunday's training due to feeling fatigue and arrhythmias,' Al-Hilal said in a statement.

'He will be observed accurately by specialists, as his case will be monitored constantly.'

Mitrovic made a high-profile move to Al Hilal in the Middle East in the summer of 2023 and has since become a sensation at his new club, netting an impressive 40 goals in his debut season.
