Police Command has arrested two suspected pedophiles in separate incidents for
allegedly luring minors with food and money before sexually assaulting them.
The first incident was said to have occurred on December 30, 2024 when a
case was reported at the Tilden Fulani Divisional Police Headquarters,
involving one Aminu Musa, a 41-year-old resident of Sabon Garin Narabi, who was
accused of sodomizing an 11-year-old boy (name withheld).
According to the complainant, the suspect lured the minor to his room on
several occasions, using food and small amounts of money (ranging from N100 to
N300) to manipulate the boy before committing the act.
The police, acting swiftly, arrested the suspect.
A statement issued on Tuesday by the spokesman of the Command, Ahmed
Wakili revealed that during interrogation, Musa confessed to the crime and
admitted to exploiting the boy under the guise of offering him help.
In a related incident, on December 31, 2024, another report was made at
‘B’ Division Police Headquarters in GRA Bauchi.
It was alleged that on December 28, 2024, one Adamu Abdullahi, a
38-year-old scrap dealer, popularly known as ‘Baban Bola’, lured a 10-year-old
boy (also name withheld) into an uncompleted building and forcefully had carnal
knowledge of him.
Upon receiving the report, detectives from the Division were dispatched to the scene and immediately arrested the suspect, who confessed to the crime freely during interrogation.
