Abducted Anambra Commissioner and wife freed

-The Anambra state Commissioner for Youth development, Patrick Aghamba, and his wife have regained their freedom. 

The couple was abducted on Friday August 16, while travelling for the wedding of the daughter of Charles Soludo, governor of Anambra, which was scheduled for Saturday in Abuja.

Kpajie Offia, an aide to the commissioner who was travelling with the couple, was said to have been k!lled during the attack.

Confirming the new development to newsmen, the Chief press secretary to Governor Soludo, Chris Aburime, said the commissioner and his wife were released on Saturday night, August 17.

“Within 24 hours, we were able to get them out of the hands of kidnappers,” Aburime said
