Friday, August 28, 2026 - The wife of embattled content creator Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as Odogwu Asaaba, has continued to publicly defend him, claiming he was set up following his arrest by the Delta State Police Command over the alleged sexual assault and subsequent suicide of 20-year-old Favour Agbro.
In a newly released video, she clarified that a viral clip of her husband kneeling at a police station was not an admission of guilt, but rather a private plea to the deceased’s parents to protect his public image. She alleged that adversaries filmed the interaction because they lack actual evidence against him.
Maintaining his “innocence,” she strongly denied the rape
and homicide allegations, insisting their interaction was entirely consensual
and describing the situation as a "transaction gone wrong."
‘’Favour
gave her consent. She was not forced. She wanted it. Odogwu did not r@pe
Favour. Even if they want to do this case which ever way they want to do it, I
will still stand on my ground that Odogwu did not r@pe Favour. Why Favour
unalived herself is something I am still asking myself till today.''
