Thursday, July 16, 2026 - Leandro Trossard has completed a permanent transfer from Arsenal to Besiktas.
The 31-year-old spent three-and-a-half years with the
Gunners after joining the club from Brighton in January 2023.
The Belgian forward has signed a three-year contract with
Besiktas, which includes an option to extend for an additional 12 months for a
reported €18 million plus a potential €2 million in performance-based add-ons.
A statement on Arsenal's website said: "Everyone at
Arsenal would like to thank Leo for his valued contribution to the club and
wish him all the best for his future."
During his time in north London, Trossard featured 174 times
in all competitions, scoring 36 goals and providing 34 assists, and was part of
Mikel Arteta's side that won the Premier League title last season.
The Belgium international has 57 caps for his country and
also started all six games at this summer’s World Cup, scoring twice, as
Belgium reached the quarter-finals before losing to Spain.
