Thursday, June 9, 2026 - Gunmen have k!lled a History professor at the Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi, (MOAUM), Gabriel Nyityo.
Prof. Nyityo was reportedly m8rdered at his Makurdi
residence in the early hours of Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear as
officials have yet to release an official statement.
Initial reports indicate that the assailants attacked the
professor while he was asleep.
