"Rubbish, rubbish! " DJ TUNEZ disses BURNA BOY’s song at London club (WATCH)

Tuesday, May 12, 2026 - Wizkid’s personal disc jockey, DJ Tunez, has criticised Afrobeats singer, Burna Boy’s music following their clash in April. 

Burna Boy and his team reportedly assaulted DJ Tunez at Obi’s House, Lagos, a few weeks ago, which led to the DJs Association of Nigeria temporarily suspending the singer pending investigation into the alleged incident. 

Amidst the ongoing investigation, DJ Tunez sparked controversy after throwing shade a Burna Boy during a recent performance at a London club.

During his set, DJ Tunez played Burna Boy’s song ‘Last Last’ but muted his vocals and then proceeded to call his music “rubbish.”

His statement sparked cheers and condemnation from among the audience in a clip from the event, which has since gone viral.

It also elicited mixed reactions online with many berating DJ Tunez for escalating the beef with Burna Boy and warning of possible reprisal from the latter.
