Tuesday, April 14, 2026 - Retired police officers today, April 13, stormed the Force Headquarters in Abuja to demand payment of their pensions.
The retired pensioners in solidarity, sang as they marched
to the force headquarters to register their displeasure over unpaid gratuities
and poor pension conditions.
They sang songs that depicted they were dissatisfied by the
way their pension was being handled and how much was being paid to them.
‘’We nor go
gree o, we nor go gree! Wuru Wuru pension, we nor go gree!''
Videos making the rounds online showed the retired officers
clashing with some of the current officers stationed at the Force headquarters.
